Renny and Johanna Harlin speak their podcasts The Harlin Show‘In a episode released on Wednesday, they were a worrying phenomenon.
In the episode, the couple wrapped up the US evening circle, and especially the appearance of culture. Johanna reveals that they have a friend who works as a teacher at a high -class Los Ageles school. According to them, there are students at the school whose parents are either celebrity or billionaires.

“It is really common and has become quite normal in Los Angeles that 15-16 year olds take sick leave because they have gone to beauty operations,” says Johanna Harlin in the episode.
According to Renny Harlin, schoolchildren take weeks and even a couple of months of sick leave to recover from surgery.
– I think that is so terrible. I’m really shocked and panic about it because we have a little daughter and a little boy who grows in America, and Miami is a bit of a similar place as Los Angeles in this regard. It’s terrible – how it is possible, Johanna is horrified in the episode.
Renny thinks that the background pressures of social media, in particular, are in the background.
– For example, for a young woman, following such examples, if they become part of everyday life and circle of friends, how can you go to school as a normal finnish teenager when everyone else looks like they had jumped there from the Kardashian family Christmas party, Renny says.
Harline has two children under school age. Daughter Coco and Son Jules. The family’s home is located in Miami, USA, but the family travels most of the year around the world due to the work of Harlin’s film industry.
