Street makers throughout the country experience increasing frustration due to strict controls of the Labor Inspectorate. The rules prescribe that they can work on their knees for a maximum of one hour a day and bend for half an hour. Sixty projects have already been stopped, which leads to delays and higher costs. At a major police action in Eindhoven, four family members were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking and money laundering. According to sources, it is a father (59), mother (58) and two men aged 25 and 30, one of which would be their son. The police invaded two homes and five companies, including a fish shop, beauty salon and catering business. The promotion is part of Project Aurora to tackle crime around Kruisstraat and Woenselse Markt. Read more here:
