“The Peperstraat is really in ruins,” says Mennes about the old finish spot of the Damloop. The director of Le Champion is delighted with the castle as a new end point of the 39th edition of the famous running competition.
Volunteers
Mennes does indicate that there is still a need for volunteers. In total, around a thousand people will help to steer the Damloop in the right direction. “They have a very important role this weekend.” Volunteers can report on the site nnddamloop.nl.
