After two years of Berlin

Midfielder Andreas Bouchalakis (32) returned from Berlin to Greece after his farewell. On Friday, first division team Panetolikos presented the ex-Herhaner, whose contract had expired in the German second division club this summer after two years. According to the club, the contract in Agrinio is also valid for two years.
Berlin was the third abroad for the veteran. In 2017 he was switched from Olympiakos Piraeus free of charge in England’s second division to Nottingham Forest. After returning to Piraeus a year later, Bouchalakis stayed with the club for another four years, for which the 47-time international played a total of 226 competitive games. After a loan to Konyaspor to Turkey, we went on to Hertha BSC in 2023. Bouchalakis was on the pitch 37 times there.
