FC Augsburg uses the later transfer in Turkey again to reduce its Bundesliga squad. At the Deadline Day of the Süper Lig, Gaziantep reported the loan from Yusuf Kabadayi (21). According to club information, the falcons have a purchase option for the winger. The contract in Augsburg is still valid until 2028.
In Augsburg, the former Bayern talent was opened after a Schalke loan before the 2024/25 season. Afterwards there were only six joker missions at the FCA (one goal, an assist) before Kabadayi seriously injured his knee and missed the entire back series of the last championship round.
“After his injury break, Yusuf is now given the opportunity to collect game practice in the Turkish Süper Lig,” said FCA sports director Benni Weber about the change in the Turkish Süper Lig. “We wish him a successful and above all injury -free season in Turkey.”
On Friday, Alanyaspor had already announced a loan from Augsburg on Friday. Striker Steve Mounié (30), for which no purchase option should exist, is reported to the FCA a rental fee of 100,000 euros. With the additional exit of Kabadayis, the Fuggerstadt squad is reduced to 29 players-the Bundesliga cut is 28.8.
