Ademola, back from two games with Nigeria, returning from South Africa after strikes, individual training and remote exchanges with the company
Atalanta is preparing to re -deal Ademola Lookman. After playing his first seasonal minutes with Nigeria, the 1997 class will return to Zingonia, further stage of a soap opera that went on for over a month between strikes, individual training and distance exchanges with the company to leave Bergamo. All tensions and shortcomings for which Atalanta has already sanctioned the Dublin hero.

Lookman will arrive in Zingonia and will be evaluated if it can be immediately available to Ivan Juric: there will be no further disciplinary measures – also because, very trivially, there is no reason to decrease further – but only technical and physical reasoning that are part of the natural return course after the commitments with their national team. On the other hand, Ademola returned to Bergamo with a journey of over 16 hours (and a stopover) from South Africa, set foot on the field for 75 and 90 minutes after three days without ever having done work in a group, even if it has always been held in shape. In short, Juric and his staff will be able to evaluate it on a physical level to understand if it can be ready for use in Sunday’s game with Lecce, for which the times are particularly tight. That’s why it is not said that Friday will be the first session with the rest of the Lookman group under the orders of the Croatian technician.
