And connected his message with a call: “I would love to collect money for this good cause,” wrote the former English international (six missions). “In October my daughter will run five kilometers every day, and I will also try as much as I can. Please donate,” concluded Roberts with a reference to “Prostate Cancer UK”, a foundation that collects money for research against prostate cancer.

Roberts won the UEFA Cup with Tottenham in 1984, was part of a team that was also able to win the FA Cup in England twice. Roberts was also successful with the Glasgow Rangers (1986-88), won the championship in the first year, in the second the Scottish trophy. After another station at Chelsea (1988 to 1990), Roberts ended his career at smaller clubs.
His coaching career was more exotic: In addition to many subclass clubs in England, Roberts was also trained by the Nepal (2011-12 2011-12) national team, advised Pakistan’s selection.
