The Italian fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo Spa and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Pierre la Tour go separate ways.
La Tour will resign to “to pursue new professional opportunities in another business area,” said Salvatore Ferragamo on Thursday. He submitted his termination with effect from September 26th.
Ferragamo veteran takes over the funding
For him, Paolo La Morgia takes on the role of CFO. In doing so, he initially takes over the creation of the financial reports and the company’s sustainability report.
La Morgia has been for the Ferragamo Group since 2010, where he was first involved in the IPO of the fashion group, according to the company side. Since then he has been responsible for various tasks in the company. From September 2019 to July 2024, he was active as a Group Internal Audit Director. In 2022 he also took on the role of Tax Risk Officer. He has been the role of the Group Planning & Control Director and Group Risk & Internal Control Director since last year.
Before Ferragamo, he was active for Deloitte as a manager in consulting in the “Global Financial Service Industries” area. At the auditing and consulting company, he started his career as an auditor in 2004.
