After his end at Eintracht Braunschweig, goalkeeper Marko Johansson found a new club. The 27-year-old is moving to Iran.
Johansson himself shares the contributions of his new employer. In a video message, he is aimed at the club’s fans. “I am happy to see you all in the stadium. I am very happy to be here and get to know you all,” he says, adding: “Together we are stronger.”
Johansson was hired by the BTSV in the summer of 2024 as a backup for loan Lennart Grill by Hamburger SV. Because Grill’s services remained behind the expectations, Johansson preferred to be preferred in the course of the season and came up with eleven competitive operations. He kept the zero three times.
When goalkeeper Ron-Thorben Hoffmann returned to Braunschweig from FC Schalke 04 in winter, Johansson moved back to the second member. After only one year, his commitment to Eintracht came to an end. Now it continues in Iran.
