The former Stuttgart talent Jan-Carlo Simić could leave the RSC Anderlecht after only one year-and ensure a rich transfer gain. The 20-year-old defender has apparently come into the focus of Al-Ortihad. In Saudi Arabia, the transfer window is still open until September 11th.
According to the transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Simić and Al-Ortihad have already agreed on a four-year contract. Now the clubs still have to find each other. At Romano there is talk of a possible overall package of fixed transfer and bonuses of up to 20 million euros, while the “Nieuwsblad” reports about a sum of EUR 21 million. Either way, Simić would become one of the most expensive sales of the Belgian record champion.
An Anderlech Simić from AC Milan only signed last year and paid 3 million euros. Since then, the market value of the central defender has climbed from 5 million to 8 million euros. According to Mario Stroeykens (12 million), he is the second most valuable professional in the club. The five -time Serbian international Simić has a contract until 2029 in Anderlecht. In April he was also associated with Eintracht Frankfurt.
