A little after 5.00 this morning several vehicles were involved in an accident, including a car with a trailer, the ANWB reports. It happened between Abcoude and Vinkeveen. There was also a guide rail.

According to the traffic service, several emergency services came into action, including a trauma helicopter. “The road is littered with junk and after storing this will also have to be cleared. The police are on their way to investigate the cause of the accident. We are busy finding a solution for enclosed traffic,” the ANWB said

The road is closed. You can detour via Hilversum, over the A9, A1 and the A27.

Also for motorists from Alkmaar to Amstelveen, on the A9, the delay is running. At Akersloot you are stuck for almost half an hour because a lane is closed after an accident. There are storage work, the ANWB reports.
