Amid a national lockdown, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s aide sent an invitation to more than a hundred staff members to “enjoy the beautiful weather” in the garden. It is the first evidence of such a lockdown party in the highest echelons of British politics. That reports ‘ITV News’.

Dominic Cummings, Johnson’s former advisor, talked about the party on May 20, 2020 a few days ago. Earlier, a banned Christmas party and also a pizza and wine party had been mentioned.
The email invites more than a hundred employees of the British Prime Minister’s cabinet for “a drink from one and a half meters away”, while the population was banned from meeting more than one person at the same time. The invitation also asks you to bring your own drinks.
According to ‘ITV News’ there were about forty people in the garden that evening. Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie Johnson were there. They were also present at the cheese and wine evening on 15 May. At the end of last year it was said that it was a working meeting, which this time is difficult to use as an explanation.
The incident puts renewed pressure on Boris Johnson. A poll before the holidays showed that most Britons expect him to step down as prime minister in 2022.
