The French continues his journey in Biatore’s team: “I always thought this was the right place for my future”

It is no coincidence that the announcement arrived on the weekend of the Italian Grand Prix. Just in Monza, in 2020, Gasly won his only career victory and his link with our country is special. Since the time of the Red Toro, Pierre has in fact chosen to live in Milan, the city with which he has repeatedly said in love, to the point of choosing not to move even after the signature with Alpine. “I am excited to engage in long -term with the team – explained Gasly on the renewal – as French, it is for me an honor to run for a car manufacturer that represents my country. Since I arrived, in 2023, I have always thought that this was the right place for my future. The support and trust of Flavio Briatore towards me and the commitment of François Provost in the F1 project, in addition to all the people engaged in Enstone, have rendered this decision. The choice to continue with the French was shared by François Provost, the new CEO and administrator of the Renault group, and Flavio Briatore. Just the Alpine number one explained how Gasly is “an immense resource for our team, especially in a difficult period like what we are facing now”.
