Two people were seriously injured on Thursday evening after the car in which they were sitting on a tree collided next to the Transvaal street in Sleeuwijk. The car caught fire after the collision.
It went wrong around half past twelve, when the driver of the car drove straight on in a bend. A local resident managed to extinguish the fire.
Traumaheli
Emergency services came to the transvaal en masse to worry about the victims. Among other things, a trauma heli was used.
One of the two occupants was trapped in the car and had to be freed by the fire brigade.
Not much about car
The victims were rushed to two different hospitals.
A recovery company was called in to remove the car, which was not much left. The police are investigating how things could go wrong on the transvaal.
