Odlo, the Swiss brand for functional clothing, extends your free repair service to all Odlo stores across Europe after successfully testing it in Switzerland for almost a year.
The initiative is part of Odlos Rewear program, which aims to reduce waste. Products can be given such a second life, even if they can no longer be worn due to damage.
Rewear program offers resale, repair or take back
As part of the Rewear program, there are announced three options for what you want to do with your used articles: Due to the resale, completely overhauled, used clothing can be sold to a fraction of the original price in the shop. Damaged Odlo articles can be repaired by repair partners on site; The entire handling takes place in the Odlo shop. Another option is take-back, i.e. the return of not desired sports clothing. This will then be either passed on to new owners: passed on to the inside or re -receded responsibly.
“By using the clothing for longer and keeping it away from the landfill, we can make a noticeable difference. Extension of our Rewear repair service is an important step on our way to more reusability as part of ‘Close the Loop’ and expression of our comprehensive commitment to the protection of nature that is very important to us,” comments Odlos in a message.
The product is still under guarantee – that is, less than two years ago from the date of purchase and does not record any self -caused damage – Odlo pays the repair and shipping costs. For products outside the guarantee, employees can create a cost estimate for the repair.
In order to implement this service, Odlo works with four reliable partners in Europe: with Meyerundkuhl Specialwäschen GmbH in Germany, Italy and Austria; With createl in Switzerland, Goodloop in France and Tavare in Norway.
