Football fans can apply for tickets for the 2026 World Cup from next Wednesday – and in the best case, they buy them for a good 50 euros.
At the beginning of the regular sales phase on September 10 (5 p.m.), tickets will be offered for preliminary round games at the final round from June 11 to July 19 in Canada, Mexico and the USA from $ 60 (51.39 euros), as the FIFA World Association announced.
In the first phase, interested parties can register for a ticket by September 19. However, the prerequisite for this is the possession of a visa card. The payment card provider, a sponsor of the World Association, has secured the exclusive rights for this.
If you are lucky in the random selection process, from September 29 by email will be informed for the ticket purchase by email and a time window that begins on October 1st. Then individual tickets should be available for all 104 World Cup games. According to FIFA, the most expensive entry ticket for the final costs $ 6,730, which is around 5,765 euros.

With other means of payment, the ticket purchase should only be possible at a later date. Registration for the second phase is expected to take place from October 27th to 31st, the sale will then increase between mid -November and early December.
Phase three begins after the group draw, which takes place in Washington on December 5. Then fans can register for certain games. The World Cup rises for the first time in three countries and with 48 nations.
The opening game is scheduled for June 11th next year in Mexico City. The final will take place in East Rutherford near New York on July 19.
