Around 19.50 a 21-year-old man from The Hague was shot on the corner of the Paets van Troostwijkstraat and Oudemansstraat, in the Laakkwartier. Shortly thereafter he died in the hospital. The OM states that there was probably a rip deal.
The suspect emerged in the investigation as a shooter. In the night of the shooting, he fled abroad and since then stayed in Somalia. On Sunday he was arrested at the airport on his return to the Netherlands. On Wednesday, the examining magistrate extended his custody for two weeks.
On April 20, a 22-year-old man from The Hague was arrested for involvement in the shooting. He is said to have driven the flight car and was in court for the second time on Wednesday during a pro forma session. Both men are suspected of co -perpetrating qualified manslaughter.
