Plasschaert recently won the bronze in the ILCA 6 at the European Championship. Earlier in her career, in 2018 and 2021, she was crowned world champion. At last year’s Olympic Games in Paris, she finished seventh, in 2021 in Tokyo she fell just next to the podium. In the past year she consciously opted for a different approach.
