With a goal in the final phase against NAC, Sven Mijnans proved its value for AZ this weekend. The midfielder shot a cross from Matěj Šín against the ropes. “Fortunately I was in the right place,” he indicated his joy afterwards.

The smile is back on Mijnans’ face, that was different earlier this summer. Then a transfer to PSV seemed close, but AZ did not want to cooperate. “Everyone cooperated very easily at my switch from Sparta to AZ, but this is about other amounts.”
