ResumeBotic van de Zandschulp failed to reach the second round of the Miami masters tournament. He was surprised in the opening round 6-4 6-4 by the Kazakh Mikhail Kukushkin.

After losing the first set, Van de Zandschulp (26) handed in his service in the second set at 4-4, after which Koekushkin used his first match point after an hour and 50 minutes.
Kukushkin is from the qualifying tournament. The former number 39 in the world has fallen to place 159 in the global ranking. Van de Zandschulp is 42nd.
Two weeks ago, Van de Zandschulp made it to the third round at Indian Wells. He recorded a nice victory over the Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime and eventually lost to the Serb Miomir Kecmanovic.
previously stayed Tallon also put Greek track in the first round in Miami. Arantxa Rus also failed to win a match in the women’s tournament.
