Buenos Aires (dpa -Afx) – Argentina’s President Javier Milei was thrown at the campaign event with stones, according to his spokesman. Government spokesman Manuel Adorni said that he was brought away unharmed on platform X. The event had been ended abruptly, as several media reported.
Several government representatives then blamed supporters of “churchnerism” for the attack in the city of Lomas de Zamora in the province of Buenos Aires. This relates to the political camp around ex-President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, who is known in Argentina as “Kirchnerismo”.
Milei also later published a photo that shows him with the thumb raised next to his sister, the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei, and MP José Luis Espert.
On September 7, the legislative elections in the province of Buenos Aires are located ./ppz/dp/he
