Every few weeks, Donald Trump gathers his closest consultants in the White House And enjoy it when you lick his boots to the high gloss. These cabinet sessions are basically staged television devotions for the size of the president, in which his appointments alternately sing shamelessly. Attorney General Pam Bondi went so far in a meeting in April to praise Trump for saving the life of 75 percent of the US population.
Tulsi Gabard and Lori Chavez deremer
Trump held another cabinet session on Tuesday. Also this time the picture did not differ. The table full of subordinates who praised him that he had saved the United States from the abyss. The spectacle lasted over three hours, while Trump answered questions from the assembled press. The veneration rose to his head. “I have the right to do everything I want to do,” he said in relation to the use of national troops in cities. “I am the President of the United States.”
Tulsi Gabard, director of the national intelligence services:
“This is really a great opportunity to recognize your leadership role as a true champion for working people … … I know that when we walk around at the table, we will hear how your focus is on the well -being of the American citizens. And that is the red thread that runs through the politics of her entire administration.”
Gabard spent most of the summer to distract from the botched processing of the Epstein Fall and instead spread conspiracy theories about ex-President Barack Obama and the 2016 election. Trump rewarded Gabard’s efforts with his own praise and congratulated her to “become a bigger and bigger star” of his government every day.
Lori Chavez deremer, Minister of Labor:
“Mr. President, I invite her to see her big, beautiful face on a banner in front of the Ministry of Labor. Because you are the transforming president of the American worker, together with the American flag and President Roosevelt … and I was honored to reveal it yesterday.”
Chavez-Deremer referred to a banner with Trump’s face on the facade of her ministry, which was actually hung up, next to a banner from Theodore Roosevelt. Both with the slogan: “American Workers First”.
Steve Witkoff, special envoy for the Middle East:
“There is only one thing that I want. That the noble committee will finally come to reason. And realizes that you are the best candidate since this price has existed to maintain it. Your success is changing the world today, and I hope that one day everyone wakes up and understand that.”
Witkoff, officially not a cabinet member, but still invited, also explained that the work “for her” was the greatest honor of his life, and praised Trump in having ended “more than seven” international conflicts in the past eight months. Which exactly remained unclear.
Kristi Noem, Minister of Internal Security:
“First of all, thank you for the opportunity to work for you. You made this country safely. You have opened the economy. And you enforce the right. Now people can get up, take care of their families, go to work and be safe.”
Noem Pries Trump repeats for an alleged complete transformation of the US economy to prosperity and security. Although he recently released the head of the statistics office because this stagnating growth had shown in his monthly report.
Brook Rollins, Minister of Agriculture:
“Thank you for saving the college football. We are very grateful.”
College football was by no means in danger. However, Trump had issued an executive order that obliged universities to secure scholarships for women and Olympic athletes and to reform the payment in university sports.
Scott Bessent, Finance Minister:
“As we said so often: Economic security is national security, and our country has never been so sure. Thanks to them. They have brought us back from the edge. They have the overwhelming mandate of the American people. And they restore confidence in the government.”
Bessent said that one of the main paths on which Trump restores trust was his attempt to bring the traditionally independent central bank Fed under his control. The day before, Trump tried to relieve Fed governor Lisa Cook. A legally completely baseless step. Cook’s lawyer announced on Tuesday that she would complain and not resign.
Marco Rubio, Foreign Minister:
“They were elected President of the Working Americans, and that’s why this Labor Day is so meaningful. That is why he is the most important laboratory day of my life for me than someone with four jobs.”
Trump has rebuilt the government since took office and put loyalists in key positions. That is why Rubio is not only Foreign Minister, but at the same time head of the National Archives, the US development aid agency and Trump’s national security advisor. On Tuesday, he praised Trump as a “Peace Primer boss”.
