Peek & Cloppenburg has a new managing director for his Vienna branch.

From November 1st, Lukas Lobensommer is responsible for sales and human resources at Peek & Cloppenburg Vienna. The company is responsible for business in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe of the fashion trade group.

“We are very pleased that Lukas, a proven sales and trading expert, takes over sales responsibility for our Austrian subsidiary,” said Stefano Della Valle, Board of Directors and CEO of the Peek & Cloppenburg Group. “In his function, he will promote expansion in Austria and the CEE countries and promote the further growth of the company,” added Della Valle in a message on Wednesday.

Praise summer follows Alexander Deopito, who left the fashion group in August. In his function, the new managing director will work closely with CFO Martina Dutzler and Jason Morgan, managing director of purchasing.

More than 15 years of retail experience

Praise summer looks back on more than 15 years of experience in retail and sales. The manager held various management positions, most recently as managing director of sales and logistics at Lidl Austria and previously as a member of the management and COO at the Müller Holding in Ulm. He was also a member of the DRS German Retail Services AG.

“I am very much looking forward to my new task at Peek & Cloppenburg and to further advance this great company together with our teams,” said Lobensommer. “It is our goal to combine analytical thinking with the passion for retail, to concentrate on our customers and to further promote expansion.”
