Norwegian ski star Jan Thomas Jenssen29, undergoing surgery. The Norwegian Ski Association announced the setback on Monday.

Jenssen crashed on Saturday as he warmed up the international roller skiing competition in the Toppidretsveka sprint race. He was unable to participate in the sprint qualifying.

Studies revealed a fracture in the wrist boat.

After surgery, Jenssen starts rehabilitation and alternative training. Injury is unfortunate, as the main goal of the season, or the Winter Olympics, is less than half a year. The World Cup season begins in Kuusamo in late November.

Jenssen has skied 15 times in the World Cup in the top ten in his career. He has one personal winnings and a total of five prize balls. He was third in the 2023-2024 Tour de Skin.
