Millie Bobby Brown is a mother. On Thursday, the actress announced that she and her husband Jake Bongiovi welcome their first child together – a little girl who adopted them. “We are overjoyed to start this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in peace and privacy,” wrote the couple in a explanation on social media. “And then we were three.”

Brown and Bongiovi, 21 and 23 years old, married in a private ceremony last year. They originally met through Instagram and started a relationship in 2021. “I’m still really young, but my mother had her first child at 21, and my father was 19,” said the actress in the podcast “Smartless” at the beginning of the year. “It has always been my thing long before I met Jake. I wanted to be a mother, the way my mother was for me, and my grandmother played a huge role in my life.”
