In the men’s Madison Julian Bortolami and Riccardo Colombo touched the bang, beaten of a single point by the Spanish couple Igual Ubeda – Urcatogua Sanz, capable of imposing 51 to 50 despite the final attack of the Azzurri. The balanced distribution of medals, between speed and pursuit, male and female, tells an Italy that does not live only of individual champions but of a wide movement, in health and ready to renew itself. Still, all this arises from a single plant covered on the national territory: a limit that does not cancel the merits, but which obliges to look forward.
