Telstar played an excellent first half and took a deserved 2-0 lead by goals from Soufiane Hetli and Patrick Brouwer. The roles were reversed in the second half. Volendam invaller Anthony Descotte managed to find the net twice and shoot the 2-2 final score on the scoreboard.
Telstar trainer Anthony Correia was realistic afterwards. “Based on field play and opportunities, we might have earned three points. Only that’s not how it works in reality. They put a better second half on the mat,” Correia looks back.
