Two men from Etten-Leur were arrested on Thursday because they probably participate in making, processing and storing hard drugs. One of them was caught during a car ride with 13.5 kilos of hard drugs in his car.
That happened in Cruquius, a village near Haarlem. After an anonymous tip, the criminal investigation department received a 24-year-old man from Etten-Leur. They then saw them walking out a shed with a suspicious box. He was arrested with hard drugs in his car.
Shortly thereafter, the team invaded the shed, where a ‘strong drug lab’ was found. Criminals made the drug 4mmc there. The National Facility Distress (LFO) has dismantled the lab and removed the items.
There the ball started rolling further. The investigation is a house on the Liesbosweg in Etten-Leur, which was used as a cutting location for all kinds of hard drugs. Drugs are mixed with other substances in such a place.
“Dozens of liters of flammable chemicals were found and microwaves were used throughout the entire process,” the police say. A 22-year-old man from Etten-Leur was arrested.
Raid at home
This was followed by a raid at a house in Breda. During a raid, ten kilos of drugs were found, of all kinds. “Everything has been seized,” the police say. The research is running full speed and the suspects are stuck.
