Miljuschka Witzenhausen’s life has changed extremely since she has to live with permanent security. Her uncle is top criminal Willem Holleeder and since he does not get hold of his sister Astrid Holleeder – she lives in one safe house – Daughter Miljuschka also seems to be an acceptable prey to hit Astrid. And so she is protected.

Traumatic

The situation is poignant, Miljuschka indicates. “My failed marriage with my children’s father is a trauma, but this is also traumatic. I prefer not to talk about it and I get tired of it myself, but I live in a cage. I am completely tied to home and is isolated,” she says in the Woman.

“You can no longer go to the market on the weekend, because when I leave my house, it is always with a security team. I will never be singing alone in the car again. I no longer drive a car anymore. Those little moments you have for yourself are gone.”

‘If he is dead’

Is Miljuschka Bang? “Not really, because I know that my team has arranged it well. And I have always had the feeling that I am going to be an old grandmother, somewhere on a mountain. I will hold on to that. But of course I will be disappointed for the situation. It can take a long time before there is a chance that my security can be scaled up again.”

When it is that time? “I think that only happens when my mother’s brother has died. That hopelessness, not knowing where you stand, how long it takes, that is mentally very complicated. Fortunately my mother can sleep again since I am so heavily protected. He is very happy with this.”
