Raducanu wrote: “Madness !!” Then she linked Alcaraz and added: “Thank you, partner, I had so much fun.” Below the Spaniard commented: “I’m still waiting for the Spanish words … Thank you, partner!” Alcaraz posted a small black heart behind his words.
The five-time Grand Slam winner also shared four joint photos. The opening picture shows how the Spanish tennis player with Raducanu is on the court. The two professionals laugh warmly while Alcaraz puts the arm around Raducanus shoulder – a friendly gesture. He also wrote: “It was fun.” Raducanu commented in Spanish: “You are the best.”
Already in June, after Alcaraz’s request, the tennis player explained to her for the mixed competition: “I was very surprised and honored and of course excited.” The love speculations also left Raducanu cold, she explained: “I am glad that the Internet has fun and that we can offer some entertainment.” Then she added seriously: “Yes, we have known each other for a long time, and I think we got to know each other much better in 2021 when I had this little run in Wimbledon.” At that time she reached the round of 16.
