French streamer known for participating in extreme challenges Raphaël Graven has died at the age of 46 in harsh conditions, and now the police are investigating his death, says BBC.
Graven, also known as Jean Pormanove, was found dead in the apartment in Contes, Northern Nizza, says the prosecutor.
Before his death, Graves had been violated during streaming and had been exposed to a significant sleep deprivation. The other two streamers forced, among other things, the man to lie down under the mattress of the bed and threw him with a bottle of water, says CBS.
Graves eventually died during sleep during the live broadcast.
French minister Clara Chappazwho confirmed the ongoing investigation to the BBC, described Graven’s violence and death as “absolute horror” and said that the man had been humiliated for months. Graves’ cause of death is determined by autopsy.
Graven photographed live broadcasts on a live streaming platform called Kick. On the platform, the transmission maker can communicate with other users in real time. The company also quickly explores Graven’s death conditions behind the streaming platform.
-We are sad about the death of Jean Pormanovi and take part in the loss of his family, friends and followers, says Kick-Streaming platform.
