The accident happened around half past nine Tuesday evening. According to a witness, an e-stepper suddenly crossed the Diksmuidsesteenweg and bumped into a passing car. The driver of the car remained unharmed, but the man on the scooter sustained injuries and was brought to AZ Delta in Roeselare.
The impact was fierce: the scooter was completely destroyed and the car was also seriously damaged. The vehicle had to be towed.
