Bad news for chocolate lovers: worst drought in more than 46 years threatens cocoa harvest

Ivory Coast, the largest cocoa products in the world, currently has to deal with the worst drought period in 46 years. That is what Joe Woznicki, a weatherman at Commodity Weather Group, who specializes in the agricultural market, reports to the Bloomberg financial press agency. As a result, production might be lower and that could have consequences for the chocolate price.
