He is world champion and was received like one in Vancouver. The first game for the Vancouver Whitecaps was a roller coaster ride for Thomas Müller, as he confessed.
The 35-year-old said after his game in relation to his emotional world: “It is a mix of everything. The result is disappointing, frankly. But they were great first moments.” He also added: “I meet, the fans turn through and then it was offside.”
After the whole hustle and bustle of the past few days around his arrival in Canada, Müller now wants to take it a little more relaxed. “I was very busy for the last few days. Now I will come to rest and think about the past few weeks in my apartment.” According to the “Bild”, Müller is said to have moved into a high -rise apartment in Downtown Vancouver.
Most recently, the former international already said about his new stay: “The apartment is well located. With a view of the stadium, which is really nicely illuminated at night.” Only that the arena shines in blue, i.e. the color of the rivals of FC Bayern, 1860 Munich, had a brief smile. Müller still perceives the lighting as “beautiful”.
He also said with a view to his debut: “Now I’m happy that I fought my first match.” Perhaps his next goal will be recognized, then there is a double reason for Müller to be happy.
