Bormes-les-Mimosas (dpa-AfX)-France’s President Emmanuel Macron does not believe that Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin strives for peace. “I think that President Putin wants peace? The answer is no,” said Macron in his summer residence in Bormes-les-Mimosas after a video count for Europeans. “I think he wants the surrender of Ukraine.” With a view to US President Donald Trump, Macron, on the other hand, was convinced that this peace wanted.
Macron wants to travel to Washington with the Ukrainian President Wolodymyr Selenskyj, Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) and other European representatives to speak to Trump about the end of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.
Three goals and warning of a weak course towards Russia
