All the disappointment of the Ducati pilot for the eighth final place: “I go slower than last year and I have problems managing the rear tire”
A retreat in the sprint and an eighth place in the race. The results obtained in Austria by Francesco Bagnaia were below expectations, after the good premises of the tests of Friday and Saturday morning. “I’d like to know what happened,” said Ducati’s pilot. “As in the rest of the season things have happened that I struggle to understand. Here I have always been fast and I found myself fighting for eighth place taking many seconds from Marquez. It is a difficult situation to accept”

Bagnaia explained that the main problem continues to be the feeling with the new Ducati: “Compared to the former I went slower everywhere. And even if I look at my times of last season. So it happens all from the whole year. On Friday I was fast and I was running on the 29th high. Also on Saturday morning I felt affixed, in the sprint instead it went as it went and in the race we had the usual difficulties.
