The first safety risk area issued runs from Holendrecht Zuid via the H neighborhood to the K-neighborhood and part of Bijlmer Arena. The measure is in force for a duration of two weeks, up to and including 29 August. The second safety risk area is around the Gaasperplas, where the Reggae Lake Festival takes place on Friday to Sunday. From Monday, the second area will no longer fall under the set safety standards.
“The safety risk areas are set to prevent confrontations and incidents and for the safety of those present and local residents,” the municipality said.
