“I did not expect that I would be here two years ago,” says Tyrone Owusu in the run -up to the game with PEC Zwolle. De Hagenaar is working on his second season with the Eredivisionist from Velsen-Zuid. Before that he came out for clubs such as Quick Boys, Scheveningen and Westlandia. “In the youth I played for ADO Den Haag, but in the end I opted for amateur football. I also thought I would stay with the amateurs.”
Debut
In total, Owusu came out 35 times for Telstar. Last season he scored three times and his debut in the Eredivisie last weekend lasted 85 minutes. “To be honest, I am not satisfied yet and I am working hard on that.”
