The title song of the new album by Taylor Swift, The Life of a Showgirl, combines the singer and Sabrina Carpenter for a piece of music for the first time.
Since Wednesday (August 13) we know that Taylor Swift will publish a new record this year. The singer revealed it in a podcast talk with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason.

Even before the bomb burst, Swift gave an indication of the announcement and already indicated a cooperation with Sabrina Carpenter. As the tracklist now also reveals, both even sing together with the title track.
While fans are already longing for the duet, obviously none more than … Sabrina Carpenter. On Instagram She wrote in her story: “I know someone who totally freaked out, and I am.”
So far, there has been no further thoughts on the cooperation between Taylor Swift, but in the past the singer has spoken over her colleague several times euphorically, she also took her as support at concerts of her “The Eras” tour.
Taylor Swift is getting shorter this time
However, Swift made it clear that this time there will not be more songs as with Tortured Poets Department.
During the performance in the “New Heights” podcast, the 35-year-old commented on the scope of the LP:
“That’s exactly 12 now [Songs]. There is no 13. There are no more. This is the album that I have wanted to do for a very long time. […] I tend to write a lot of music, so it is tempting to publish a lot of music. But I often wanted to make a record that has a uniform quality and focuses on one topic and in which everything fits together like a perfect puzzle. I have the feeling that we have achieved this with these 12 songs for my 12th album, and I’m really happy about that. ”
The new songs were produced by Max Martin and Shellback. The two Swedes were already working on Swift’s success plates Red and 1989.
