In a boot accident off the coast of the Italian island of Lampedusa, at least 26 people were killed. Sixty migrants could be saved, the Italian coast guard reported. The balance is for the time being. A lot of people are still missing, Filippo Ungaro, spokesperson for the UN Refugee Organization (UNHCR), wrote on the Platform X. The boats were on their way to Europe.
