The corona virus struck at second division team SV Darmstadt 98. As the lilies announced on Wednesday, “a double-digit number of people” in the direct team environment tested positive. The lilies did not reveal who it was. All those affected are in isolation at home.
“The situation that has now arisen is of course not optimal in view of the preparation for the hot phase of the season,” said sporting director Carsten Wehlmann. “But the squad has already shown that they have a real team spirit this season.”
