Second European weather satellite leaves Wednesday morning: next step to independent meteorology

On Wednesday morning at exactly 2.27 pm, the European Space Agency (ESA) and Eumetsat (the operator of European weather satellites) will shoot into space. Just like in other areas, Europe should also become more independent in terms of space travel and meteorology.
