Prethuis tours with American television star Ronn Moss

Tonight the comedy can be seen in Ypres and afterwards the company will travel to 10 West Flemish cities and municipalities. Ronn Moss feels quite at home in our province. He currently has a permanent home in De Haan. “This is a big challenge for me. It’s not easy to do this. All the other actors often play in comedies. Not me. I play drama.”

And that makes it just as special that a world star like Ronn Moss is on our stage in the comedy ‘Brasskate Huisvrouwen’. After 25 years of ‘The Bold then the Beautiful’ he is going on tour with Het Prethuis. Jeroen Maes, Het Prethuis: “I thought: ‘That man will never do that.’ But he said yes. And then I wrote a script and sent it to America with trembling hands. And I got back that he thought it was fantastic.”

Ron Moss is staying in De Haan, where he discovers the coast and the hinterland. “When summer comes, I can jump on my bike and keep riding. It’s great. You can’t do that in Los Angeles. You can’t just ride a bike. You have to take the car. For me, that’s a pleasure.”

In April and May, the company and Ronn Moss come to Eernegem, Torhout, Blankenberge, Roeselare and 6 other West Flemish cultural centers.
