At Dynamo Dresden, the 1st FC Magdeburg had not won for a long time, this series ended. In Magdeburg they breathe up, promoted Dresden made a false start.
In the duel black and yellow against blue and white between the two heavyweights from the Elbe, the 1. FC Magdeburg was able to prevail 2: 1 (2: 1) at SG Dynamo Dresden. The goals for the Saxony-Anhalt scored Jean Hugonet (28th) and Martijn Kaars (45.+1). In the meantime, Christoph Daferner achieved the compensation for the Saxons (44th). A hair-sharp VAR decision to the disadvantage of the FCM kept the game closely into the final seconds.
Dynamo begins with heads and ball control
While Magdeburg’s coach Markus Fiedler confidante the eleven, who lost unhappily against Braunschweig, Thomas Stamm converted his team to four positions. The change rails were to wear fruits, the SGD was highly concentrated from the start, kept the ball away from his own box in its own ranks and Magdeburg. After ten minutes, Dynamo had almost 80 percent possession. The black and yellow were only lacking opportunities.
The rival from Saxony-Anhalt took just under 20 minutes to find into the game. After a double-pass attempt with Lubambo Musonda, Laurin Ulrich narrowly missed the play equipment, otherwise Tim Schreiber would have been tight for Tim Schreiber (23rd).
Hugonet makes mistakes well again
Five minutes later, the ball fidgeted in the Saxon network: Ulrich extended a corner of Baris Atik to the short post, where Jean Hugonet had run in well and hit the gate from a full run over the inner post. Last week the Frenchman took the fault for the goal against Braunschweig and made an unfortunate figure with a piece of paper in his hand. Now (28th minute) he was in the spotlight and took the lead.
The FCM was able to celebrate for the first time after the goal of Jean Hugonet.
Daferner benefits from Reimann’s uncertainty
As a result, the FCM lurked, Dynamo struggled. Until shortly before half -time (44th) Nils Fröling took a ball that was already believed to be lost in Sascha Risch, who simply pulled out flat from 22 meters. The ball put up again in the penalty area and became difficult for Dominik Reimann. The goalkeeper had the play equipment bounced up in his 100th second division game, where Christoph Daferner was the first to be on the ball and pushed in to compensate.
Shortly before the break, Dynamo equalized, but promptly collected the next neck.
Kaars counters promptly
Magdeburg was by no means shocked by this setback, played forward over Ulrich. The newcomer sent Atik to the penalty area that moved away – Lars Bünning was in between, but falsified the ball in front of the feet of Martijn Kaars. The top goal scorer of the FCM from the pre -season, which left a few chances last week, showed itself ice cold and overcame the rushing Tim Schreiber for the Magdeburg (45.+1) with the tip of the foot.
Schreiber twice on the post
Both teams unchanged the second round. The game initially did not spray a lot of goal until it was dangerous on both sides in the 62nd minute. Dresden’s spring fought a ball on the baseline and put back on Kofi Amoako. His shot was blocked, Magdeburg clarified long and found Musonda. The sambier went straight to Tim Schreiber, but could not overcome the keeper with a flat attempt.
Dynamo Dresden and 1. FC Magdeburg fought for the points in a long -term balanced game.
Five minutes later, the focus was on the Freecal-born in the box of the black and yellow when he kept the upper hand in one-on-one against Kaars. In the 75th minute, Schreiber had no chance when the Dutch goalkeeper grabbed a shot from Philipp Hercher. The game seemed decided, but the Var intervened: the forehead of Kaars was offside. Bitter for the FCM: Hercher’s shot would have sat, Kaars just had to stay away. So it remained a tight duel.
Oehmichen forgives the best chance
Dynamo threw everything forward and missed the compensation. Substitute Jonas Oehmichen put a header from a few meters just over the orphaned FCM goal (79th minute). The Saxons literally laced the opponent in the last few minutes in their own penalty area. But whenever a degree or cross came, there was still a Magdeburg part of the body to block the ball.
In the second half, Dynamo misses the equalization. Jonas Oehmichen had the best chance eleven minutes before the end.
So it remained the narrow defeat for the SGD, which has been lost against the FCM for the first time since 2007. The last home bankruptcy was 25 years ago. Dynamo remains pointless after two games. Now it goes in the cup against Mainz before the league is about the first points in the league at Mit promoter Bielefeld. The FCM, on the other hand, travels in the luggage with three points – and then on to the cup game in Saarbrücken before the next league paper is due at Hannover 96.
