The fire that raged on Thursday evening in an apartment complex on Brahmslaan in Eindhoven is not lit. The police report this on Friday evening. According to the police, the investigation has been completed and there are no indications of criminal offenses. As a result of which the explosion and the fire have been caused, therefore remains unclear. Housing corporation Woonbedrijf was also unable to provide brightness.

Three people were seriously injured in the explosion and the fire around nine in the evening. The police could only start her investigation for some time after the fire had broken out. First the damaged houses had to be stuck.

Most flat residents could eventually return to their apartment around one o’clock in the morning. All the while they had to wait outside.

For the residents of six apartments, all of which have been declared uninhabitable for the time being, a different place to sleep had to be found. They could not go to their home.

Housing corporation Woonbedrijf said earlier this Friday it did not know when they can go back home. “Only after the investigation of the police do we do an inspection and do we know what it is like,” says a spokesperson. As a residential company, the residents can return. That decision has not yet been taken, because later in the evening a spokesperson said that the residents of the six apartments or themselves or via residential company found temporary housing.

The Salvage Foundation took care of the daycare of the group of residents on Thursday night. They were able to sleep in the Campanile Hotel in Eindhoven but had to leave that place again on Friday afternoon around noon.
