The Bundeskartellamt has released the takeover of Willy Bogner GmbH by the Katjes group. This enables the traditional Munich manufacturer for ski clothing and fashion to do the change of ownership, which was already announced at the beginning of August.
Willy Bogner GmbH is the parent company of the Bogner Group, the clothing under the brands “Bogner” and “Bogner Fire+Ice”. The Katjes Group is a German confectionery manufacturer who is primarily known for its fruit gums and licorice products.
Andreas Mundt, President of the Bundeskartellamt: “The merger pointed out no reason. The economic activities of the union participants show no competitive points of contact. The Federal Cartel Office was able to release the merger without bureaucratically within a few days.”
