Benjamin Sesko has loud “Image” information decided to switch from RB Leipzig to Manchester United. Thus, the Red Devils who do not play European this season prevailed in advertising around the center forward against Champions League participant Newcastle United. According to the report, representatives of the English clubs traveled to Leipzig to convince the Slovenes of their projects – the decision has apparently been made.
The transfer should amount to around 85 million euros, including bonuses, and would thus ensure a new record at the English buying frenzy in the Bundesliga. This summer 410 million euros flowed from the island towards Germany: Florian Wirtz went from Leverkusen to Liverpool for 125 million, Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitiké followed him for 95 million and BVB sold Jamie Gitten for 56 million euros to Chelsea. Twelve players moved from the Bundesliga to the richest league in the world – only Lukas Nmecha changed from VfL Wolfsburg to Leeds.
The rumored transfer for Sesko would increase the investments of the Premier League to a good 490 million euros and thus outbid the record of EUR 449 million from the 2023/24 season. The Bundesliga has so far paid 175 million euros in clubs from England’s elite league this summer for seven fixed transfers, loan and two transfer -free access.
With this change, RB Leipzig would have a balanced transfer balance with this change. So far, the Saxons have invested 92 million euros in six new players who are offset against departures for EUR 7.2 million. Including the transfer of Klublegende Yussuf Poulsen, which went to Hamburger SV for one million euros. As soon as the last details have been clarified at Sesko, new coach Ole Werner is only available to Loïs Openda, string candidate André Silva and the 18-year-old talent Robert Ramsak for the storm center.
Mean-United trainer Ruben Amorim, meanwhile, could draw from the full with Sesko, Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee. The transfer expenditure of the Red Devils would increase to around 235 million euros, which with Sesko, Bryan Mbumo and Matheus Cunha almost completely flow on the offensive. There are zero euros on the revenue side.
