Chicken Caravans from Hoogeveen hopes to bring Campooz employees. The trailer builder from Assen went bankrupt last month and was taken over by the Hoogeveensche company.
“We desperately need the employees,” says Thomas Gunnink of Kip Caravans. “Suitable staff is difficult to find and they already have the knowledge, so we would like to restart with them.”
Whether that will happen is still unclear, according to Gunnink the staff of Campooz are quickly catching up. “We also find out if we can arrange transport for people from Assen, so that they can come to Hoogeveen for work.”
The location of Campooz on the Van Vlissingenstraat in Assen is not an option. “It is very large and the rent is also high,” Gunnink explains. “That is why we think it would be better to merge all work in Hoogeveen.”
