A very large fire has been raging for hours in two sheds of an agricultural company in Vessem. This is reported by the Southeast Brabant Safety Region. There is a storage tank of 2000 liters of diesel in one of the barns on Keijenhurkseweg. In addition, there is a large chicken shed. It contains nine thousand chickens.

The fire brigade tries to do everything to save all chickens. The fire broke out on Sunday evening by half past three for unknown cause. The fire was not yet under control at half -twalf.

One of the two barns was struck by a blazing fire. It contained a number of machines. A big fire is also raging in the other shed. It is not known what was housed therein.

The fire brigade has been pulled out with many people and large equipment. Four extinguishing vehicles are used. To provide this with sufficient extinguishing water, there is also scaled up with an extra water transport system and extra water tanks.

The Safety Region also says that there are no solar panels on the roofs of the sheds on fire. Near those sanding is also a stable with cows in it.
