With Sibylle Vogt, a forbidden substance is demonstrated. Then she provides an unusual reason – which has to do with her private life. There is still a lock.

A positive cocaine test results in a six -month lock for Jockey Sibylle Vogt – but it is above all its reason that causes a sensation.

The 30-year-old Swiss was positively tested in March in a doping control. In her later statement, she attributed the finding to sexual intercourse with a person who had previously consumed cocaine. She didn’t know anything about it – and admitted that she did not see herself completely free of guilt for a lack of caution. Your partner admitted drug use afterwards.

Despite this unusual admission, the French gallop association remained in its decision: Vogt was retroactively closed from May 25th for six months. The B test had also confirmed the result of the first analysis.

The association said that Vogt’s test result is “not contested and explained by jockey with considerations of their private life”.

The case is reminiscent of the French tennis professional Richard Gasquet. In 2009 cocaine was also found in the urine. Gasquet was able to make credible having come into contact with the substance at a party. His lock was then significantly reduced.
